i want i want

Some days I am reminded just why I love Etsy so much.

This soap looks heeeeeavenly.

I think this pitcher is so adorable, and very summery. Love it.

I love how clever these bookends are. I've been looking for some and just adore these!

icky.

Blah. I'm mentally/physically/spiritually exhausted, driving back and forth from Pittsburgh is getting old, and this whole situation is shitty. I can't believe we're on day 6...

I am in desperate need of some kind of major rejuvenation, but based on how things have been over the past week or so, I don't see that happening soon. My body needs TLC, preferably in the form of my yoga mat and a shopping trip to Market District that will include tons of fresh fruit and veggies. A glass of wine may also be involved.

It's blatantly obvious that the death of a family member can take its toll. I remember it being so unbearably painful when Pappap died, but it was nothing like this. Maybe that's the difference a few years of maturing can do. Or perhaps the mind is kind enough to let us forget a little bit of the pain. Either way, it doesn't make what's happening any easier.

my inspiration for the day

It's amazing what one single place can mean to a person. Saint Vincent has provided me with twenty-four years of inspiration, faith, community, and love. It was surreal knowing that in just a few days I'd be back for Muga's funeral, but my visit today provided me with a familiar sense of comfort.

I've always admired Saint Vincent's beauty, and walking around taking these photographs allowed me to reflect and remember exactly what the basilica means to me.

oooooh.

I have a growing obsession with really cool key jewelry.

Maybe someday I'll save up for this, but these are also very pretty:

in my free time...

I really want to make this...such a cool idea. There are still about 500 things I want to do with the apartment, but time and money have both been sparse lately.

My grandmother's death is imminent, and quite frankly, it sucks. My cousin and I went through a ton of photo albums yesterday, and I found so many great pictures - my grandparents were freaking awesome and sure knew how to party. New goal: make this and then put three fantastic photos of them in it.

motivation.

Don't go outside your house to see flowers.
My friend, don't bother with that excursion.
Inside your body there are flowers.
One flower has a thousand petals.
That will do for a place to sit.
Sitting there you will have a glimpse of beauty
inside the body and out of it,
before gardens and after gardens.
